The Sinphonia is a brand new concept for sinks, the design ethos is to close-off the sink when not in use providing an overall sense of order to the whole kitchen. The glass sliding boards, when in the closed position, provide a calm uncluttered appearance and can hide the items queuing up for the dishwasher. The boards are also intended for food preparation in conjunction with the suspended colanders.

The linear design has also been extended to the wastes which incorporate square covers concealing the double pop-up strainer wastes adding extra stylistic refinement . A new concept in washing is possible with the use of a low bowl divider – this means normal sized items can be washed in the bowl with a 108mm water depth and when larger items such as oven trays are to be cleaned - simply raise the water level to fill both bowls. The low height wall also means that the colanders can slide uninterrupted across the full width of the sink and remain in the sink when the covers are closed
