The decision making process when furnishing a home should be an exciting, stress-free, rewarding process, although I'm guessing that anyone reading who has ever been in the situation would argue that it is anything but. Whether it's the commitment to a product for a prolonged period, knowing that once it's picked you can't go back, the expense associated or perhaps a combination of all these, it never ceases to amaze us the levels of stress incurred by our in-store customers or even those we chat to on the end of the phone. It seems that with an ever expanding world of product availability, there is a very line between 'variety' and 'too much choice'.
One of the main culprits is flooring. It is the last decision to make, in what is usually a long string of decisions which have led you from conception to completion, by which time most would rather hear the sound of a baby crying all evening long than be asked another interior-design related question. Thankfully, Karndean are here to help with their latest video series giving some useful advice on the matter
