Delivery Costs

We currently deliver to the UK, Ireland and can offer many of our items to Mainland Europe. A rate-card is used to determine the cost of delivery, whereby a charge is applied based on the volumetric or actual weight (whichever is greater)

For Mainland UK (Zones A & B) delivery is Free of Charge

Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands (Zone C) may incur a surcharge

All other Zones (D, E & F) including Mainland Europe will incur a surcharge.

Delivery Instructions

We endeavour to send out all goods within the stated time, which for many products is usually within 24 hours (excluding Saturday, Sunday & Public holidays)
Goods are delivered by courier or Royal Mail to your stated postal address and will require a signature to accept delivery.

If you require delivery to a different address, i.e. work, or on a specific day, please email us before we dispatch the goods.
We are unable to change the delivery address after the goods have been dispatched.

The couriers will attempt delivery once. If no one is available to sign for the goods, a card will be left for you to contact the couriers to collect from the local depot. The couriers may attempt to deliver the following day, but they do not guarantee this second attempt.
If the goods are taken to the local depot to await your collection, they will be held there for 5 days.

If you have not arranged collection after this time your goods will be returned to Vida Homes along with a return delivery charge and the purchaser must meet this charge.

All items that are received by courier or any other delivery service MUST be checked on delivery. Any imperfections to packaging (or product where packaging has not been used) must be noted on the Proof of Delivery before you sign for the goods. This ensures that both yourselves and Vida Homes are covered should there be any damage to the product inside.

Please feel obliged to note anything on the packaging that you are not fully comfortable with. If we can identify the problems at the outset we can rectify these problems promptly. If this is not reported and it proves to be a courier fault it will be very difficult to prove that the damage has not occurred after delivery, so we would rather you were covered throughout.
